15 months

Jack had his 15 mo check-up today. It is hard to believe that my 4 lb 4 oz 17 in. little boy is now 24 lbs 7 oz and 32 in long!

Oh the fun a box can bring

Jack had a fun time being swung around in his diaper box. Who needs toys when you have a box?

Babysitting Ava

Nick and I babysat Ava, Jack's girlfriend and daughter to our friends Jon and Leanne. Jack and Ava had a fun time playing. It was interesting having two kids under two in our house to take care of:) Needless to say we were tired by the end of the night!

Klepk Cousins

We were so excited to go to Virgina Beach and see the Klepk family (my dad's brother Gary and his family.) Jack and I stayed with our cousins Eddie and Michelle and their two kids Dylan and Neelie. They had not meet Jack and Jack and I had not meet Neelie. We had a fun time talking and just hanging out. We miss our family. It is hard living so far away!

Driving to Virgina

On the way to Virgina we decided to stop at South of the Border to use the restroom. Anyone who has driven on 95 in SC or NC would have seen NUMEROUS signs for South of the Border. It was even on Travel Channel as one of the biggest truck stops. It was a little disappointing! But, we got some good pictures! Jack was a great car rider. He even helped with directions!

Lucas' Birthday Party in SC

Jack and I spent a week in South Carolina. We went to visit Grandma and ended up going to a birthday party and driving to Virginia to see the Klepk family. Here are some pictures of lucas, the birthday boy and Jack playing:)

First Step

Jack took his first step while Nana was visiting. He then took four steps a couple days later! He will take a couple steps here and there, but no walking yet.

Jack's First Concert

Jack got to experience his first concert this past weekend. We took him to a Reggae festival in Hollywood, FL. He danced to the music and loved being in the grass. Nana took Jack home and Nick and I saw Lee Scratch Perry and Bunny Wailers perform. It was awesome!!!

Dinner Sunday Night

Sunday night Nana took us to dinner. We went to 15th Street Fisheries in Ft.Lauderdale. We had the most delicious dinner! I highly recommend it! It was right on the ICW . We watched boats go by all through dinner. Jack was such a big boy and ate dinner with us and even joined in on the conversation. He is such a good little boy:)

Labor Day Party

For Labor Day we decided to have a party! We invited friends from our meetup group as well as friends from daddy's work. Jack had fun sharing all his toys with his friends. We wish we had a bigger place so everyone would come play. After we ate we went to the pool and Jack got some much needed daddy time.

Nana's Last Full Day Here;(

Since we had some pretty cloudy weather while Nana was here, we decided to go to the beach on her last full day. Jack had fun sitting in the waves with Nana. We showed her the splash pad we like to go to. We will miss Nana and are looking forward to seeing her and the rest of our family in Illinois in October. Now off to Myrtle Beach to see Grandma Karen!!!!
