Jack and I arrived in Illinois and were immediately greeted by the COLD weather. Jack didn't seem to mind, even though at times he was shivering! We had a fun time visiting Uncle Will and Aunt Sarah in Lincoln, Illinois. Jack made friends with Mr.Deer and Uncle Will said he would "catch" a deer for Jack so Jack could have a deerhead too!

All is well
We are home from the hospital and Jack is doing great! He's actually sleeping right now:) All the tests came back normal. The neurologist gave us a prescription for valuim to give Jack when he gets a fever. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Another Hospital Visit
Jack Allen has given us a scare..... again! Jack started getting a runny nose and cough on Saturday. Sunday he had a mild fever and still wasn't feeling the best. Early Monday morning (around 3 am) Jack woke up and was coughing and wheezing so we decided to take him to the hospital. On the way to the hospital he had another seizure (his first one was in June). Nick rushed him into the ER and they started working on him right away. This seizure lasted about as long as the first, but it took him longer to bounce back. They did a spinal tap to rule out meningitis (everything came back fine). Had had an EEG today and the neurologist is going to speak to us tonight. They want to make sure the seizures are from fevers and nothing else. They are going to keep us overnight as the blood test won't come back until 4 am. Jack and Nick are sound asleep right now. He is getting back to his sweet and toddler self. I will keep everyone informed on what they find.... or don't find.
