Today was Jack's graduation from the Play Together Learn Together class we took at Nova. We had a fun time singing, dancing and celebrating. The first of many graduations for Jack:)

Graduation Day
A Day In The Life
Jack and I had a fun filled Monday this week.
First, we went to the park and played in the water feature.
Then, we came home and decided to paint.
Jack was a little critical of his painting.
Next, we had to wash the paint off of our arms, toes and fingers.
Finally, we made mommy's special chocolate chip cookies (we even had some of the dough).
Mmmm Sushi
We fed Jack sushi for the first time this past weekend. He likes to eat avocados and crabmeat so we tried the California roll. He wasn't too sure about the sticky rice and seaweed paper. We'll try the real stuff when he gets older:)

First McDonald's Visit
Ready for the day with Moo and his sunglasses.
All parents are excited when their child hits their milestones. First time sleeping through the night, sitting up by themselves, eating solid foods, crawling, walking etc. Jack hit a milestone today that is probably #1 in my book. As most of you know, I love food!! I love to watch Food Network, I love to cook and most of all I LOVE TO EAT! My day is not complete unless I've learned a new recipe or tried something for the first time. So today when I realized Jack and I needed to get something to eat after jump and gym and before we ran errands it thrilled me to know that I would be taking Jack to McDonalds for the first time! I remember going to Mickey D's as a child, the warm salty taste of the fries, the yummy cheeseburgers with the awesome pickles:) I remember the playgrounds we used to play at , after we were done eating of course. So bringing my son to his first McDonalds experience almost brought a tear to my eye. He enjoyed his Happy Meal with a cheeseburger and apple slices. I love that there are "healthy" choices! He enjoyed some fries while watching and waving at people. A little girl came by, rubbed Jack 's head and said, "Oh a baby, I like babies." She so reminded me of myself at that age. Needless to say it was a monumental day in my mommy universe.

Marriott Hollywood Beach Pool
Jack's Grandma and Grandpa Klepk stayed on the beach for a couple nights during their visit. Sunday we went to the hotel for brunch and hung by the pool the rest of the afternoon. Jack had fun swimming, dancing and sleeping. The pictures are of Grandma and Jack, the boys (Uncle James, daddy, Jack and Grandpa Klepk), and of our sweet little boy of course!

Water Fun
Uncle James, Jack and I went to Hollywood Beach with Leanne and Ava on Thursday. We had been to the splash pad before but this time Jack was brave and actually crawled through and sat under the water. Leanne took some great pictures for us!

Play Together Learn Together Class
Jack and I started a mommy and me class at Nova Southeastern University. We love playing with our friends Ava and Leanne. Justin and Reaquel decided to try the class too! Jack loved the cornmeal in the water table:)

Jack's First Fireworks
We stood on a bridge on the intercoastal. We were able to look down the intercoastal and see numerous fireworks. Jack enjoyed seeing the lights in the sky.

Jack, Nick and I went to Uncle Chris' for our Fourth of July celebration. Jack had fun walking with Chris and playing the drums with dad. The cupcakes I made were YUMMY!!
