Last weekend Nick, Jack and I drove to Islamorada for the night. We had a fun time playing in the sand/rocks, hunting for crabs in the water and eating some wonderful food. It was nice to get away for the night. We love being within 2 hrs of the keys!

Chef Jack
Jack and I were going to make chocolate chips cookies... but then Oscar came in the kitchen and Jack's attention went towards him:)
ANOTHER hospital visit.....
A couple weeks ago Jack was sick. It started on a Friday night. He woke up around 11:30 and was coughing and having trouble breathing. We brought him to the ER and he was better. They sent us home thinking he had a cold. Nick and I combined got about 3 hrs of sleep that night and Jack got proabably 1 hr! The next morning Nick brought him to the dr and he was diagnosed with croupe. A couple weeks later, antibiotics, nebulizer treatments, x-rays and another ER visit later he is all better!!!!

Watch What You Say......
Oh the things they catch on to....
1) A couple days ago I had on a t-shirt that smelled like Nick (It must have gotten mixed up with the clean clothes and put back into the drawer). I kept on saying, "Nick this shirt smells like you! Smell it Jack it smells like daddy." Skip ahead a couple days. The shirt is washed and I have it on for bed. Jack has been getting in bed with me after daddy leaves for work and we sleep, snuggle and look at each other. Today Jack wakes up, looks at my shirt, smells it, points to it and says, "dadda, dadda!!!!"
2) We get in the car today to run errands. I get Jack in his seat, buckle in and he says, "Ni-night?" (his blanket.) I say, "Oh shit!!!" guess what Jack says... yep! His first curse word. Guess I need to watch my mouth:)

The Big 0-2!!!
I asked a dear friend of ours to take Jack's 2 yr pictures. To say Leanne did a great job is an understatement. She truly captured Jack Allen and all his adorable, sweet mannerisms. I am so pleased with how these turned out. Thank you Leanne for doing this for us!!!!
